Problem
Tired of surfing through the many
different sources of information on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and
still not really understanding what it's all about?
You may think that you are one of the few people within your organisation
that does not really understand the fundamental requirements
of SOX and how it affects you and your organisation.
Believe me your not! Our experience shows that there are many
people within small, medium and large organisations (at all levels),
that are not entirely comfortable with;
Understanding the
fundamental requirements of SOX
How you
can demonstrate compliance
We have seen on many occasions how people who have been given
the responsibility of ensuring that they comply with the requirements
of SOX and how these requirements have been mis-interpreted. This
has resulted in rework to process and testing documentation that
not only makes you and your working colleagues feel as though you
got it all wrong, but can also cost your organisation further time,
effort and money to put it right.
Don't get us wrong here; we are not trying
to make you feel bad as we have also been in your position, to
many things to do at the same time and not enough hours in the
day to do them! In trying to find useful information, people
often resort to surfing the internet, only to find a myriad of
information which often seems full of jargon and is an immediate "switch
off"!
Then again this is just our view, but we get the feeling that
we are not alone in these thoughts?
We think that what you would really want would be information
that is;
Trustworthy - information that is
accurate and clear
Helpful - using innovative ways of
getting the message across
Easy - gets
to the point without unnecessary detail
Even better, a structured course that is;
Easy accessible - able to
download from the internet
Requires no pre-requisite
training
Able to learn at my own
pace
Engaging - made me wanting
to know more
Tested me as I went through
the content with no pressure to get the answer right or wrong
Had an optional "knowledge assessment" at
the end of the course giving me instant feedback on
how much of the information I had
retained.
Available as a future
reference should I need it
Affordable

Learning that was "Affordable"
Here's feedback from people who really found our course
useful!
"In my own role I have had several
occasions when I have needed to find some information and
have resorted to the internet to find what I needed. Everything
I had previously found was very challenging and non user
friendly, therefore your site was a refreshing change. You
have all the information people would need, but it is all
laid out in a very easy to read format which encouraged me
to explore what information was there."
M. Elderton Sox Bau Risk Analyst, Egg Banking
"I found the information very useful,
concise, jargon free and easy to use. The interactive quizzes
were particularly helpful as they highlighted areas where
I lacked knowledge and needed to read through again."
C. Houghton Financial Reporting Analyst, CitiGroup
"I found the course to be a great
starting point to quickly get up to speed on SOX and also
a great sense check for those already engaged in SOX activities
to provide "best practice" pointers or highlight
gaps or weaknesses in individual SOX activities. The “knowledge
assessment” module was straight forward and simple
to use, providing the necessary consolidation to the knowledge
imparted through the programme."
Nick Cameron Operational Risk Management, CitiGroup
"The site was informative, professional
and for someone like me it would build on my existing knowledge
of SOX."
M. Johnson SOX Financial IQA Team, Independent
Consultant
